Shah Rukh Khan to greet athletes at Asian Para Games

Shah Rukh Khan who heads Meer Foundation and owns the Indian Premier League's Kolkata Knight Riders, will be greeting para athletes during his visit New Delhi. The will be greeting the athletes at the send-off ceremony of the Indian Paralympic Contingent for Asian Para Games 2018 which is held in Jakarta. The actor will be in New Delhi at the Convention Hall in Hotel Ashoka, Chanakyapuri.

The actor heads a Meer Foundation which envisions 'to enable, enhance and encourage - empower women by making them feel appreciated and inspired, and to foster humility, pride and gallantry among the men in their lives. To tap into the bravery, warmth and optimism that exists within us all.' The foundation is also known to have helped acid attack survivors. 

Meanwhile, the actor will be seen in the upcoming film Zero which stars Anushka Sharma and Katrina Kaif. The film will also have cameo roles of various other actresses like Karisma Kapoor, Sridevi, Rani Mukerji, Deepika Padukone, Kajol and Juhi Chawla with Abhay Deol. 

Earlier the teaser of the film had dropped on Eid and created a lot of buzz among the fans. The actor will be playing the role of a dwarf while Anushka will be seen as a scientist. On the other hand, Katrina Kaif will be seen as an actress who is going through substance abuse. The trailer of the film is set to release on the Shah Rukh Khan's birthday November 2. 

The film is directed by Aanand L Rai and is scheduled to release on December 21. Earlier there rumours that the film might clash with Rohit Shetty's Simmba but later according to a few media reports, the two got together and decided upon their dates so that there were no clashes.
